Committees - Golf

The Franklin Rotary at Breakfast Club holds an annual golf tournament every Columbus Day.  The 2008 golf tournament (18th annual) will be held on Monday, October 13th.  We will be playing at the Vanderbilt Legends Club again in 2008.  Tee off will be at 8:00 AM for the morning round and at 1:00 PM for the afternoon round.  We will limit the number of participants to 128 in the morning and 128 in the afternoon.  The $150 per player fee covers 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, free photography for your foursome, door prizes, skill prizes (hole-in-one, closest to the pin, etc.) and prizes for the top teams in each flight.

Different levels of sponsorship are available.  You can contact Mark Fitzhugh at 289-2277 or Al Adams at 977-0837 with any questions about sponsorship or entering a team. 

Our annual golf tournament is our club's only fund raising event.  All of the money raised is used to fund our charities programs.  None of the money is used for club activities.  We supported 39 local charities in 2006 from the monies raised from the golf tournament.  We also fund our "Operation Starfish" program, which assists indigent residents of Williamson County in obtaining potable water and /or sewer service.  To date we have completed 19 "Starfish" projects.

Mark October 13th on your calendar.  Plan to attend our 18th annual golf tournament.  You WILL ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE and you will be helping those in need in Williamson County.
